Relationship dimensions
A relationship dimension in LoveScore is one of the nine scales that describe a couple: trust, communication, empathy, maturity, responsibility, peace of mind, togetherness and space, future vision and partner responsiveness. On each scale the couple gets a score from 0 to 100, and together the scores form a profile that produces the archetypes and the overall Love Score.
Each partner answers 47 questions from their own device — it takes about 7 minutes. Answers are never shown to the other partner: you both see only the couple's shared report.
Why there are nine dimensions
Eight scales describe the couple itself and count toward the Love Score. The ninth — Partner Responsiveness — works differently: answering its questions, you describe your partner rather than yourself. It stays out of the overall score because it's one person's account of another, and adding it would double someone's contribution. In return, it gives the report a storyline of its own — comparing how you see yourself with how your partner sees you.
Why the scales are scored differently
LoveScore has three types of scales. 'Level' — the higher for both partners, the better: trust or empathy, for example. 'Match' — what matters is not the amount but how close your views are: how much personal space each of you needs, or how you both picture the future. 'Hybrid' is a blend of the two. A special case is Peace of Mind: a reversed scale whose questions measure signs of jealousy while the public score shows their absence. The 9 LoveScore dimensions
Trust is confidence in your partner's honesty and goodwill: believing they tell you the truth about what matters and keep your interests in mind even when you're not around. In LoveScore it's a 'level' dimension: the higher trust is for both of you, the better for the couple.
type: levelCommunication is a couple's ability to talk about hard things and carry difficult conversations through to a resolution rather than into silence. It's a hybrid dimension: what matters most is the overall level of skill, but how similarly the partners see their conversations counts too.
type: hybridEmpathy is the ability to notice and accurately understand your partner's feelings: catching a shift in mood before it's put into words and seeing a situation through their eyes clearly enough that they never have to explain themselves twice. A 'level' dimension: the more developed the skill in both partners, the higher the score.
type: levelEmotional Maturity is the ability to stay adult in a tense moment: keeping an even tone, taking a pause instead of snapping back, and being the first to own your share of responsibility. A 'level' dimension: the higher both partners' self-regulation, the better.
type: levelResponsibility is dependability in shared life: promises kept, a fair share of everyday chores, a real part in financial decisions, and a willingness to plan further ahead than a month. A hybrid dimension: both the overall level of contribution and its balance between partners matter.
type: hybridPeace of Mind is the absence of jealous anxiety and the need to control: your partner's separate life — their evenings, their social circle, their privacy — doesn't knock you off balance. It's a reversed scale: the questions measure signs of jealousy, while the public score shows their absence.
type: levelTogetherness & Space is about how much personal space each partner needs: time alone, pursuits of your own, decisions made independently. There is no 'right' level here — what's measured is how closely the needs match, not how big they are.
type: matchFuture Vision is each partner's picture of where the relationship is headed: moving in together, making it official, having children — or keeping the current format. What's measured is how closely the scenarios match, not whether either of them is 'right'.
type: matchPartner Responsiveness is how attentive and engaged a person sees their partner to be: whether they truly listen, factor in feelings, and notice that something's wrong without being prompted. It's the only one of the nine dimensions that doesn't go into the overall Love Score.
